Career Summary:John joined Grubb & Ellis’ Institutional Capital Markets Group in 2009 as executive vice president, director. He provides advisory services to institutional owners for major office assets in the Chicago CBD and suburban Chicago markets. He has participated in 100 major disposition and recapitalization assignments with an aggregate value of over $5.0 billion. Previously, John was with Cushman & Wakefield. He joined the firm in 1994 and served as a director in the Capital Markets Group from 1995 to 2000. His primary responsibilities were asset valuation, property evaluation, investment and debt analysis, and development of marketing strategies. From 2000 to 2008, he was an executive director at Cushman & Wakefield on the most successful capital markets team. During that time, the team successfully executed several of the most significant office transactions in Chicago and across the Midwest.
