Thomas P. D’Arcy

Thomas P. D’Arcy
President, Chief Executive Officer and Director

As president and chief executive officer, D’Arcy is responsible for the day-to-day management of Grubb & Ellis Company; he also serves as a member of the board of directors. He brings to this position 25 years of successful leadership experience at various public and private real estate companies. Before joining Grubb & Ellis in November 2009, he was a principal in Bayside Realty Partners, a private real estate company focused on acquiring, renovating and developing land and income-producing real estate. Previously, he served as president and chief executive officer of Equity Investment Group, a private real estate investment trust, as well as chairman and chief executive officer of Bradley Real Estate, Inc., a NYSE-listed REIT. D’Arcy has been the non-executive chairman of Inland Real Estate Corporation since 2008 and a member of the board since 2005.

Andrea R. Biller

Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Biller assumed her current role as the chief attorney for Grubb & Ellis Company following the merger with NNN Realty Advisors, where she filled an identical role since joining the company in March 2003. She previously served as special counsel at the Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Corporate Finance and as a private attorney specializing in corporate and securities law. Biller is admitted to practice law in California, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Richard W. Pehlke

Pehlke joined Grubb & Ellis Company as executive vice president and chief financial officer in 2007, bringing more than 30 years of experience in senior financial positions at global companies in the telecommunications, financial services and food and consumer products industries. His professional experience includes roles as chief financial officer, executive vice president and director of Hudson Highland Group, chief financial officer and executive vice president of ONE, Inc., and vice president and treasurer of Ameritech Corporation. He also has served on the boards of several public and private companies throughout the world.

Jack Van Berkel

President, Real Estate Services

Van Berkel is responsible for the operations of Grubb & Ellis Company. In addition, he directs Grubb & Ellis’ Real Estate Services business, overseeing the company’s Transaction, Management and Global Client Services groups. He joined the organization in 2007 and led the successful integration of Grubb & Ellis and NNN Realty Advisors following the merger of the two companies. Since that time, he has played a key role in restructuring the organization to better meet the needs of its clients, expanding the company’s services platform and greatly increasing operational efficiencies. In addition, he works closely with Grubb & Ellis' board and senior management team to determine the strategic direction of the company going forward. He has more than 25 years of experience, including senior positions with CB Richard Ellis, First Data Corporation, Gateway Corporation and Western Digital.

Jeffrey T. Hanson

In addition to his role as executive vice president, Hanson serves as president and chief executive officer of Grubb & Ellis Equity Advisors. He is the senior executive responsible for all investment platforms sponsored by Grubb & Ellis Company and its subsidiaries, overseeing a nationwide portfolio of commercial real estate valued in excess of $5.8 billion. Hanson joined Grubb & Ellis in 1997, serving as a senior vice president in the company’s Institutional Investment Group before being named head of the company’s investment subsidiaries in 2008.

Jay P. Leupp

President, Grubb & Ellis Alesco Global Advisors, LLC

Leupp is an executive vice president of Grubb & Ellis Company and president of its subsidiary, Grubb & Ellis Alesco Global Advisors. Founded by Leupp in 2006, Grubb & Ellis Alesco Global Advisors will launch and manage a family of U.S. and global opened and closed-end real estate mutual funds, separate accounts and hedge funds. He formerly served as managing director of real estate equity research at RBC Capital Markets, the same role he previously filled at Robertson Stephens. Leupp was vice president of the Staubach Company and development manager at Trammell Crow Residential before entering the securities industry.

Stanley J. Olander Jr.

President, Grubb & Ellis Apartment REIT, Inc.

Olander is the chairman, chief executive officer and president of Grubb & Ellis Apartment REIT, Inc. He was the founder of Cornerstone Realty Income Trust, Inc., a non-traded public real estate investment trust that owned more than 23,000 apartment units and was ultimately listed on the New York Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of approximately $1.5 billion. Olander has been responsible for the acquisition and financing of approximately 40,000 apartment units during his distinguished career.

Kevin K. Hull

Kevin K. Hull
President and Chief Executive Officer, Grubb & Ellis Securities, Inc.

Hull is the president and chief executive officer of Grubb & Ellis Securities, Inc., the managing broker-dealer of the various investment programs sponsored by Grubb & Ellis Company and its subsidiaries, a position he has held since 2005. He began his career in the securities industry in 1988 at the NASD (now FINRA) and was in private practice at two international law firms for six years prior to joining Grubb & Ellis Securities, Inc. Hull holds securities registrations as a general securities principal and financial and operations principal. He is admitted to practice law in California, New York and Massachusetts.
